A V-mount battery would not be sufficient for a power outage; however, the Zhyiun MOLUS can be powered by a small power station such as the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus Portable Power Station.

How long can you run this light at 500W Max mode? Will it overheat after a long period of time?
The Zhiyun MOLUS G300 Bi-Color LED Monolight will automatically shut off MAX mode when it reaches 30° C. When the MAX mode is used at temperatures exceeding 30° C, the MOLUS G300 will automatically disable the MAX mode and return to the CCT mode once the temperature has risen to a certain level. Therefore, if you have power and stay under a 30°C operating temperature, you should be able to run for an extended time. Though, I do not think its intended purpose is for extended use at 500W.
