Yes, the Nikon D850 DSLR Camera and the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR Lens will fit inside the Lowepro ProTactic TLZ 75 Pro AW III (Black, 6L), B&H #LOLP37496. Do note that you will need to open the bottom compartment for the camera/lens setup to fit inside the case. Also note that there would be no room for the lens hood, so the lens hood would need to be carried separately.

Will this case accomodate a Nikon Z8 with Z100-400 S lens and Kirk LP-70 foot without extending the case?
I am using it in a similar configuration - Z8 and 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 S with Leofoto foot. It is a snug but good fit without extending the case. But you need to keep the lens hood reversed. If the lens hood is mounted in the normal position, you need to extend the case.
