Nikon P1100 Reviews
SD Card Slot hard to get card in/out
So disapointed! Apparently Nikon has put in some kind of mechanism to make it extremely hard to push the SD card into the slot and get it out. You have to almost force the card in and getting it out is same thing and have to practically pry it out and need strong fingernails! I did contact Nikon and they were able to reproduce the issue and are looking into it. My guess is that because the card/battery slot is on the bottom they wanted to prevent the card from slipping out? They went too far though to make it now hard to pull in/out!
Great Addition to our camera selection
Great wildlife camera, we purchased this camera for wildlife photography, we met a gentleman that had the P1000 last year and saw his photos. Our other cameras are Nikon DSLR camera and we originally thought this would be a step back in technology. We have been very pleased with the results we have gotten. The attached photo was taken at approximately 100 yards
