SmallRig RM 25C Overview

The RM 25C Mini LED Video Light from SmallRig is a high-powered, 25W, ultracompact light capable of adding full RGB color to your productions. The light is pocket-sized and features a 2500 to 10,000K color temperature range and 14 built-in lighting effects to execute your creative vision. A CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 99 ensure accurate color reproduction of your subject matter.

An integrated LCD screen helps monitor your brightness, color temperature, and battery life. The light has a magnetic mounting design to attach to metal surfaces. It also features a 1/4"-20 thread at the bottom for attachment to an articulating arm. The built-in 3100mAh battery keeps the light running at 100% brightness for 50 minutes. A USB-C PD input recharges said battery over 80% in just 45 minutes. An included diffuser helps achieve a softer lighting look.

Great Little Light - SmallRig Fixed the biggest issues after Feedback.

Updating my review from 1 start to 5 stars because Smallrig listened to feedback. As Christopher pointed out, I gave the same feedback with menu being in Chinese and the fact that the fan was prohibitively loud. Both of these issues have been fixed, the light seems solid for what it is, very punchy and RGB quality seems good. Further improvements would be - sturdier knobs and making a magnetic honeycomb for the light to expand its use greatly. Otherwise kudos to SmallRig for listening to feedback and doing something about it.

So I wrote a previous review and gave it 2 stars. The reason I'm upgrading my review is because SmallRig contacted me and took my upgrade suggestions and made a better light. The only problem I have, which knocks it down a half star is not provided extra dials in packaging. If you lose the dial or it pops off on set, you'll have to use small pliers to work with the little stalk to make your adjustments. The designers at SmallRig said they made it like that. Other than that, this light is good to go. The writing is now in English below the Chinese characters and the fan is alot quieter. Customer service from Smallrig is top notch.
