Upgrade the power distribution and accessory mounting capabilities of a Sony FX30 or FX3 using this SmallRig 4183B Camera Cage Kit with V-Lock Battery Plate and VB99 Battery assembled by B&H. The kit features a 4183B full camera cage, a modular V-lock battery plate with quick release functionality, and a VB99 Pro Mini V-mount battery with a 99Wh capacity and multiple output options.
Protect and mount a variety of accessories onto your Sony FX3 or FX30 camera with this lightweight 4183B Camera Cage from SmallRig. This formfitting aluminum cage maintains access to the camera's controls and features a variety of mounting options. The 4183B version of the cage features an HDMI cable clamp constructed of PC and fiber for a lighter form factor. The camera mounts onto the cage using 1/4"-20 screws on the bottom and the side to prevent twisting, and rubber padding on the base protects the camera.
In addition to a shoe mount, a removable NATO rail, and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, the cage features ARRI-style accessory mounts for preventing accessories from twisting when mounted on the cage. The cage also features an integrated Arca-style base that allows you to use standard Arca-style tripod heads and gimbal mounts. There are strap slots on either side of the cage to add a camera strap. A built-in screwdriver on the bottom allows you to secure the camera screws.
The included NATO rail must be removed for use with the original Sony XLR handle.

Add a compact, lightweight, and modular V-mount battery plate to your rig SmallRig's Compact V-Mount Battery Mounting System and attach it to your tripod-mounted or handheld rig. Included with the system is a V-mount battery plate, an Arca-type quick release plate, and an adjustable V-lock plate to expand your power and mounting options. The V-mount system can support up to 11 lb.
In addition, multiple 1/4"-20 threads allow you to integrate additional accessories like cable clamps, articulating arms, or other battery plates. You can easily mount or detach the entire system thanks to the Arca-type quick release plate, and the baseplate itself can be adjusted 1.44" to fit most mirrorless and DSLR cameras. You can also rotate the battery plate 90° to create more room for your camera's articulating display and to accommodate your specific rig.
The black VB99 Pro Mini V-Mount Battery from SmallRig is an ultracompact, lightweight 99Wh professional battery that can support up to a 14A draw at a nominal 14.8V. This durable, travel-friendly battery is suitable for powering handheld cameras, drones, and gimbals. It features a fireproof aluminum exterior that is drop-proof, and its inner chip provides fast charging and overcharge, short-circuit, and over-current protection.
The VB99 Pro provides multiple accessory ports, including one 14.8V D-Tap output, one 8 VDC barrel output, one 12 VDC barrel output, one USB-C input/output, one USB-C output, and one USB-A output for powering various accessories, cameras, or mobile devices. The battery can be charged using a standard V-mount charger, an optional D-Tap charger, or by using the 100W USB-C input/output with a PD fast charger. A built-in color TFT display shows the remaining battery capacity and status.
