Each input channel is arranged vertically like a large-format mixing board, providing 5-segment LED metering, selectable 48V phantom power, mic and line-level operation, and a Legacy 4K switch that adds real analog color enhancement to any input source, inspired by the classic sound of 4000 Series consoles heard on countless hit records. The Shure SM7B is a vocal microphone with a smooth, flat, and wide-range frequency response appropriate for music and speech in professional audio applications. On the Solid State Logic SSL 12 USB Audio Interface, Outputs 1 and 2 are intended for the main monitor output and Outputs 3 and 4 can be used for an alternative set of monitors which can be controlled by the Monitor knob when the ALT button is engaged. It is possible to create independent mixes for the Headphone A and B Outputs, as well as for the Line 3 and 4 Outputs. The Line 3 and 4 Outputs will allow the signal to be routed to Outputs 3 and 4. When the output channel is stereo linked, a single set of controls for Pan, Level, and Mute are provided. However, when the output channel is split into dual-mono, independent level controls appear for Output 3 and Output 4.
