Your specs say "Magnesium Alloy" body, so is it now safe to use a PD Capture Clip without the tripod mount ripping out?
I wouldn’t do so and I don’t know why BHPhoto is saying this camera it’s a magnesium alloy body build - it’s not. Already dpreview asked if they changed the design of the tripod socket from OM-5 and OM System told them no, it’s the same design of OM-5.
Look at the specs of the weight of the OM-5 without battery: 366 grams vs 370 grams. Magnesium alloy would have pushed that number higher.
