Will this shoot burst photos on a EOS R3? or only

not a directed answer but a related answer, the BR-E1 will shoot in burst mode or single shot mode. When I have my R5ii set to H+ and I hold down the shutter button on the BR-E1, it will shoot full speed until I release the button. If I set my camera to single shot or a slower continuous mode, I can get a single shot just by pressing it once and not holding it down.
