I saw a video reviewing the SmallRig x Potato Jet TRIBEX PRO X-Clutch Hydraulic Monopod before it was released for sale, and I knew immediately that I had to have one. It’s everything the review said it was. The clutch is very solid and the hydraulics are quick, smooth and solid. I chose the included ball head and it’s strong and smooth, as well. All parts are really well made. I’ve used it with my Sony A7R body and Sony 200-600mm long lens and I had no fear of leaving it standing on its own, and when shooting it was fast and strong when adjusting the monopod height as I captured some great wildlife images.

The SmallRig x Potato Jet TRIBEX PRO X-Clutch Hydraulic Monopod with Ball Head: According to the manufacturer, the head uses an Arca Swiss-style plate. The shape of the head might mean many Arca-style plates do not work well. It needs a very small plate.

Which tripods use same quick connect to attach ball head to tripod / monopod?

The SmallRig x Potato Jet TRIBEX PRO X-Clutch Hydraulic Monopod with Ball Head uses Arca Swiss standard QR plates so there are several tripods from several brands that share the same QR plates.

The ball head included with the SmallRig x Potato Jet TRIBEX PRO X-Clutch Hydraulic Monopod with Ball Head does not have a model number. At this moment in time the ball head is only available with this kit.
