I just received this product and it does not ...
I just received this product and it does not match the photographs. Specifically, the nut that screws onto the top of the stand to hold the rod in is not the the one shown with the black plastic handle, but rather a cheap small little wing nut with no washer. Did I receive the wrong product? Also, the holes in the pole at either end won't fit over the top of the stand as in the picture. Why not?
I also got small wing nuts, which are useless in holding the cross pole securely on the stand. B&H had me return the whole set rather than seeing if other sets were similar, and the new one was the same, a week and a half later (they wouldnât ship a new one until the old one was received and processed). I called Westcott and they sent me the large plastic items in the product photo.
I donât know about the pole not fitting on the stand. Mine fits ok; itâs got a bit of slop, but is ok once the 2 stands are set up and straightened with the cross-pole. When you call Westcott, ask them...

do you need to purchase 2 to get the 20 foot support?
By using two of these supports, you would get a little over 20 ft of width, however we cannot recommend for safety reasons. Generally, the right type of support is based on the type of background material you need to hold.

It is 46” long. Since it is a cloth case, it can be sort of flat, 9” wide x 4” deep, or it can be less flat, 6.5” wide x 5” deep.

What is the Maximum Height for the light stands included?
The Light stands are 10'3 when set with the maximum footprint and can be raised to 10'6 with a slight reduction of the footprint. For the most stable setup, the maximum footprint is suggested.
