question

On a monopod, would this ball head allow me to shoot vertical as well as horizontal (w/ a Canon 3Ti)?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, this ball head will allow you to shoot vertical as well as horizontal, so long as your camera and lens combination is five pounds or less.

question

What thread or connection does the bottom on this device have?
Asked by: Anonymous
The MH 1004 will feature a 3/8 -16 female connection, with an included 1/4 -20 reducer bushing for smaller threads. These two size choices will accommodate pretty much any standard tripod.

question

What is the diameter of the base?
Asked by: larry
Hi there. The diameter of the black collar is 22 mm. However, there is a 15 mm diameter barrel inside this which sits slightly (about 1 mm) proud of the base of the collar. This barrel has the female attachment screw. So the actual contact diameter of the unit to a rigid surface would be 15 mm. If your tripod plate (or other attachment surface) is rubberised this would probably squash enough to accommodate the 1 mm protrusion so that the full 22 mm will be in contact and give more stability.

question

Can it hold a SB600 or similar flash?
Asked by: Anonymous
It should hold your flash with a cold-shoe adaptor without any problems. I use mine for my M43 camera which is a much heavier device.
