I'm not an expert but this lense is pretty good and does the trick. Exactly what I needed.

After reading the pros and cons about this lens, I made the decision to purchase it. Professionally, I do not know what there is not to like about this lens. I have used it in many different applications from indoor to outdoor use and it performs exceptionally well - even when zooming in. As a professional photographer and videographer, it is a wonderful addition to my arsenal of cameras and lenses. I wouldn't leave home without it...

This wide-angle adapter doesn't require a filter but you can add a 72mm UV or clear filter to protect the front element.

question

This accepts 72mm Hoya polarizer, correct?
Asked by: Aaron C.
The front diameter is indeed a 72mm. It will therefore accept a 72mm accessory in the front. Regarding a polarizer filter we have never tested it so I suggest you check or post that question on a forum of video accessory lenses such as DP Review etc.
