This is my second pivot clamp for another light. I purchased it because of how good it worked for my other light. Very robust. I have it holding a Litemotiv 120, a ELC1000 unit and 10lbs of sandbag counterweight.

Works great!

I needed a boom clamp replacement for my older Calumet/Bogen boom. The Manfrotto 123 clamp fits perfectly. As a plus I was able to upgrade the broken plastic handles of the old clamp with the new metal handles.

question

Can you use a c-stand riser (35mm bottom section) in this clamp like in the Kupo version (KUKG601812)?
Asked by: Daniel
Yes you can, it goes to a super boom that we use. Good luck

question

Can you use this clamp with the Manfrotto 024B Boom Assembly? I am not sure about the boom diameter. If not, if there a similar unit for small diameter booms?
Asked by: Nicholas
I purchased this also thinking I could use it on another Manfrotto Boom but the diameter wasn't the same so I bit the bullet and got a B&H # MABBM with a stand with a stand with wheels. It's more expensive but well worth the cost. They are built like a tank and will last for ever.
