Can you use a c-stand riser (35mm bottom section) in this clamp like in the Kupo version (KUKG601812)?
Yes you can, it goes to a super boom that we use. Good luck

Can you use this clamp with the Manfrotto 024B Boom Assembly? I am not sure about the boom diameter. If not, if there a similar unit for small diameter booms?
No you can't. I didn't a good replacement, so I went with a Matthews Baby boom. This way I would have better control of the up and down motion, along with separate control of the forward and back movement of the boom. Two different controls knobs for each. This boom is heavy so I would also recommend a Matthews Hollywood Beefy Baby Stand (8.5)
