The Impact Shoe Mount Umbrella Bracket is a versatile bracket that will fit on almost any light stand. It includes two removable, reversible studs to adapt to light stands with top studs smaller than the standard 5/8". This bracket tilts and swivels to make aiming the light or flash easy. It also includes a cold shoe mount, which will accept virtually any shoe-mounted flash unit excluding the Nikon SB-900 and SB-910, as well as the Canon 600EX-RT.

Impact 3117 Reviews
Works pretty well.
Quality product, reasonable price, quick delivery. Perfect.
This is my second one of these. I'm using them to adapt a standard light stand to use with 1/4-20 mounted devices, like accessory cameras or flashes. It's solid and sturdy, and the included brass adapters make it easy to use with a light stand or other devices. As far as limitations go, I'd suggest using this for 283 sized flashes, or maybe a lightweight hot light, 1-2 pounds maybe. I wouldn't use this for monolights or anything really heavy, it's not designed for that.
Impact Umbrella Bracket
This bracket is very lightweight and quite versatile. It will more than do the job. They have designed it to accomodate a variety of styles. I wouild definately recommend it!
Worked great with Flash and shoot through umbrella
Used with 45 white shoot through Impact umbrella and Sigma flash in slave, 1/4 power. Worked great on top of an Impact lightstand to smooth out the light.
I used this with the 45 impact white shoot through umbrella and my Sigma EF-530 DG Super fine. Just make sure you've locked it down.
This is an excellent well sized sturdy clamp and accessory set. Holds well. Feels good in the hand. Well priced.
Excellent lightweight umbrella bracket
Very flexible lightweight umbrella bracket. Locks well and many configurations. Only negative I have is that the cold shoe could use a bit more space to avoid shorting out the flash contacts. For the flash I want to use, there is a bit of daylight between the contact and the cold shoe, but not enough to be comfortable, especially if using other flash units that may have a slightly longer contact. The little threaded flash lock screw could also be a bit better. The bracket has metal reinforcement where the threaded parts engage.
