Matthews 339567 overview

  • 1Description

This is a Matthews Hollywood Pro Stand with 40" double riser, and a sliding leg, low-profile base. It includes a grip head and 40" stainless steel arm. The advantage of the low profile Pro legs is easier positioning of the stand under furniture or other set items.

The unique staggered leg design of a C Stand allows it to be nested and placed extremely close to one another on a set. The top leg of the stand is independently adjustable to ease placement on stairs or uneven terrain.

Sliding independent top leg adjustment for leveling on uneven terrain
Griphead and arm allow mounting and placement of gobos, small reflectors and small light fixtures

    Matthews 339567 reviews

Hollywood Century "C" Pro Grip Arm Kit - 10.5' (3.2m) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hollywood proven As an ex professional camera assistant with major credits, I can say that I bought this stand as much for nostalgia as for ruggedness and proven versatility on set. I love Mathews stuff and it's really the standard for grip equipment in the USA and Canada. You can do far more with this C-stand than a light stand and Mathews are the best. Totally rugged and reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT STAND I have used the normal light stands for years. Cheaper. I finally purchased this stand and my life has changed forever. Meaning, no more moving the light/stand/weights more than once. I can angle the lights where they need to be without fuss and in a better position you than you could ever do with your typical stand. I have no idea what took me so long to order these..... No downfalls I can see with this stand. Its heavy, sturdy, and a little more pricey than the others. That is expected and worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Matthews C Stand is a Beast I did lots of research on the different brands, features and prices of C Stands when I finally decided to buy this Matthews C Stand. I am very pleased with my decision. This stand is heavy, strong and very well designed and made in every way. The sliding leg tightens securely. The stand was shipped and delivered quickly for such a large and heavy product. This was a great purchase experience with B&H.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Industry Standard - for good reason Some might think a c-stand is a c-stand, but with the experience of using lesser products, I'll never buy anything other than MSE grip equipment. These are the standard c-stand for the industry. You can't go wrong. Other stands may loosen with only a little weight on the grip clamp, but not Matthews. I feel like no matter what I have mounted on my Matthews stands, they remain sturdy, stong and reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from just what I needed After years of photographing travel I now shoot locally. That means those light weight 'travel' stands I use don't have to do more than they were meant to do. I have wanted a C stand for some time to get my Elinchrom heads up and out and this stand does an excellent job. It locks down tight, feels like it might me a 'lifetime' product. I'm pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These heavy duty light stands are worth every penny! Due to their higher load carrying capacity I chose to purchase two of these heavy duty light stands instead the cheaper aluminum light stands on the market . It was definitely the right choice! The Matthews C stands are very strong and extremely versatile. As a result, I've decided to purchase at least four more in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, These are SOLID! I use with Socanland D50 LED lights and a reflector or two and they make our lives so much easier. They nest when collapsed, they nest when they're set up, what can't they do!? I also have 2 5' versions with the 20 arm and I use both kinds literally every day and feel like they'll last forever. So good! Thanks, A

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stand for a great price! We use this stand primarily to hold modifiers but also to hold lights. No complaints. You get what you pay for. If I wanted it to do anything more, I would have bought a different (more expensive)stand.
