I want to hook up a mixer XLR out to Zoom H4N XLR in - is this the right attenuator?
It may work fine - but hard to say depending upon the mixer's output.Itt is a good idea to keep several attenuators of varying values on hand.

Is this attenuator applicable for condenser mics, in other words is it capable of passing phantom power?
I have only used this for output reduction. I can't imagine why you would please this in a mic line.
