Mounting the Mega with an umbrella bracket on this stand would get you within 4 to 6 inches of the floor. For contact with the floor I would suggest the #7425, 7 foot stand. It has a large footprint for stability but reduces to a small height. Add weight to the base for stability if you want to use these stands at near their full extension.

This stand has a rated capacity of 5 lb. The xplor600, with battery, weighs 5.9 lb. Personally, I would use a heavy duty light stand for the xplor600 (and still use sandbags). Absolutely but you would need a shoe mount bracket with a cold shoe to mount a hot shoe speed light to the stand.

The Ice Light will attach to the 1/4 -20 mounting on the top of the stand. To add tilting options I would suggest an adjustable shoe mount or tilter bracket.

I love these, they're super light and compact. The'll work with the 26 Westcott Rapid Box with a speed light, but with that load it's certain to move about in the wind. You'll also need a sand bag to bring more weight to the base. I would still consider owning a second heavier stand for windy conditions or when an assistant is required to hold the stand not perpendicular to the ground and fully extended.
