Poor Quality Control

I received a contact printer in which the sleeves (for holding the negatives) were all glued to the glass cover!! I had to carefully use a razor blade to separate the sleeves from the glass. Unfortunately, the sleeve and the glass contained substantial residual glue after that separation. So, I then had to remove the glue using a cue-tip application of Goo-Gone. Finally, I had to clean the entire contact print glass with soapy water. Ultimately, the device produced good contact prints but this is not what I expected from the manufacturer, given their price demand.

Always a wonderful experience

The Paterson Contact Proof printer for 120/220 film might not be the right product in this case. Consider a glass contact proofer such as the Print File glass contact proofer: https://bhpho.to/3BXSAou

Can this be used for both 135 and 120 film?
Asked by: Ye
The Paterson 120/220 Contact Proof Printer is designed for 120 film. If you use it for 35mm film the negative slots will not line up correctly.
