It's quite some time since I purchased a new Contact proof printer. Unable to slide the negative into the proof sleeve was a drastic change from my old equipment. Im sorry Paterson's have decided to allow a photographer to place the negatives onto the print paper 'carefully' then close the glass. Of course, the lines where negs previously went, do not match where the negs are carefully placed therefore a bit of juggling is required.

Great product except...

My 120mm contact proof printer came with a 35mm contact proof printer manual.

The Paterson Contact Proof printer for 120/220 film might not be the right product in this case. Consider a glass contact proofer such as the Print File glass contact proofer: https://bhpho.to/3BXSAou

The Paterson 120/220 Contact Proof Printer is designed for 120 film. If you use it for 35mm film the negative slots will not line up correctly.
