Compact and lightweight, the Nikon 10x25 Trailblazer ATB Binoculars are ideal companions for watching birds and wildlife on the trail, your favorite team at the stadium, or just sightseeing around town.

The combination of high-index BAK4 roof prisms and anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics work together to maximize light transmission to offset the dimming often associated with high-power optics with smaller objectives—ensuring bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate color fidelity across its generous field of view.

Complementing the optics are design details that make the Trailblazer comfortable and easy to hold. The bridge is built with dual hinges that allow the optical tubes to fold under it to minimize the footprint to take up as little space as possible when stored in your pack, pocket, purse, or glove box. The binoculars' polycarbonate chassis helps to reduce the weight without sacrificing strength or stability, and they are wrapped in a protective rubber armor that provides a secure slip-resistant grip even in cold and wet weather. To withstand the rigors of being exposed to the elements, the optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging.

Optical Performance
  • 10x magnification allows for detailed observations of distant subjects
  • 25mm objective lenses help to produce a compact form factor
  • Roof prism optical path ensures a low-profile design that is easy to hold
  • High-index BAK4 prisms deliver a round exit pupil and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortion
  • Anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics maximize light transmission for brighter views and improved color fidelity and contrast
  • Apparent angle of view approaches wide angle to minimize the appearance of distracting hand shake that is common when holding high-power optics and to present an immersive observational experience
  • Generous 342' field of view at 1000 yards
Use and Handling
  • Closed-bridge configuration provides a stable platform for the internal focusing mechanism
  • Low-profile center focusing wheel helps to maintain a compact form and minimizes snagging hazard
  • Right-eye dioptric correction allows users to compensate for optical prescription for sharper views
  • Broad 56-72mm interpupillary adjustment distance for easy use by a wide variety of people—especially those with narrow faces such as children and adolescents
  • Twist-up rubber eyecups for easy use with or without eyewear
  • 10mm eye relief
  • 2.5mm exit pupil
Construction Details
  • Environmentally friendly prisms and lenses feature Eco-Glass, which is made without lead or arsenic
  • Dual-hinge design allows the optical tubes to fold under the bridge when closed to minimize the form factor for easier storage and carrying
  • Lightweight and impact-resistant polycarbonate chassis
  • Chassis material is temperature resistant, preventing the expansion and contraction that is common with metal, which can cause the optical components to move out of alignment over time and prevent sharp focus
  • Nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature and environmental conditions
  • Protective rubber armor provides a slip-resistant grip
  • Lightweight 9.9 oz

Very light weight and much easier to use then the heavier binoculars we own. Took them to Montana on vacation and used them to scout the hillsides for wildlife. They preformed very well. We are pleased with them.

Small and unobtrusive

Love the small size and lanyard to hang around the neck. It's not heavy to carry around all day. It comes with a great case to protect it, one that can be used while it hangs around the neck, but the two little silicone covers for the tips are easy to lose. Regardless, great size, price, and accessories. I can even see without my glasses. Love this thing.

So I have a smaller 8x20 that I use for birding. I carry small binoculars in addition to my photo gear to look at stuff from far before I stalk the bird or animal. I bought these to upgrade a bit from my old pair and what a different they make. The image is super clear, great Nikon glass, yet they are still small and light enough to carry on your daily walks. I highly recommend this item.

For the $$$ these will be very hard to beat. I'm an amateur astronomer and look through plenty of optics. For this price point-this small form factor-I'm VERY happy.

Do you carry these in hardwoods finish ? Is so, same price ?

At one time we did have a Realtree APG Camouflage version of these binoculars, however they are not available to us from Nikon any longer. I am sorry about that.

any one use this for indoor target shooting?
Asked by: Anonymous
Depends on actual shooting conditions. If it involves a large open indoor area then sometimes even 10x magnification may not be enough. But for general indoors 8x may be more flexible, also a bit brighter than the 10x, although YMMV. Do check out the 8x monoculars as well.
