    Rode PSM1 reviews

PSM1 Shockmount for Rode Podcaster Microphone is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from One shockmount to rule them all, kinda I got this shock mount as part of the Procaster kit and felt it would make my recording setup better. The Rode Procaster mounts to the inner ring using the threaded base found on the microphone. There are two bungee style bands that center the inner and outer rings and provide the shock stopping power. Using the PSM1 I was able to move the microphone around without generating any audio feedback so it did its job well. I did notice that my Procaster appears a bit limp in the PSM1 Shockmount leading me to think the bungee cords need to be a little stronger. Also, noticed that the mounting point that allows you to tilt the mic up and down doesn't have enough friction so it is difficult to position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can be used with the procaster I use this with the rode procaster. it's the shock mount that will fit it as it a very bulky mic. The shock mount is very good at isolating the mic. It also adds a good amount of weight to an already bulky mic. This is good because the rode retractable studio arm I am using with the combo needs weight to counteract its rather heavy spring action.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from get it... if you've got the rode procaster, don't take any chances with a flimsy shock mount. this mic is heavy and deserves a quality companion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Shockmount, Worth Its Price I had a hard time trying to decide whether or not to get a shockmount for my Rode Podcaster. I ended up getting it and have not looked back. I feel that it significantly reduced exterior noise and vibrations caused by movement while I record in not-to-great conditions. A necessity especially if you are going to record standing up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shock mount for the RODE NT-USB As mentioned in the title, I bought this shock mount to use with my RODE NT-USB, and it works great. It's a very solid shock mount, and it seems to be build to take a hit or two. As far as doing its job of preventing vibrations from travelling to the microphone, it succeeds. Overall, another solid product by RODE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my Rode K2 look like a million bucks This shockmount sure beats the plastic stock shockmount that comes with my Rode K2. It fits my K2 perfectly and looks amazing as well. It is heavy and well constructed...this thing is built to last

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solidly made and does what it is suppose I got my PSM1 shockmount about a month ago. First thing I noticed about it was how solidly built and how heavy for its size it was. I'm very impressed with it. It is a very good quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Match for Rode Procaster A great shock mount for anyone using the Rode Procaster or Podcaster. Works very well with desk stands such as the Atlas Sound DS7E. I've only owned this shock mount for a couple of weeks so I can't speak to longevity. But it seems to be well constructed (as Rode products are).
