question

I use the bottom compartment to hold a Pentax 67 II body, 45mm, 55mm, 75mm, 100mm, and 165mm lenses. The upper compartment can hold my light meter, a flash, Fuji x-pro2 body, 10-24mm, 18mm, and 55-200mm. One time, I used the bottom compartment to hold a Nikon D800E with battery grip, 17-35mm, 28-70mm, 85mm f1.4 and 135mm f2 dc. No problem. This backpack can be loaded with tons of stuff. The more the load, the more uncomfortable the shoulder straps. Hope they are wider and contoured to better distribute the weight.

question

What's the difference between this pack and the 250 Model? This one is significantly cheaper at the moment even though it seems to be bigger.
Asked by: Cody
I don't know the 250 model, but for me, the bag simply didn't hold enough kit.I have a Canon 7D ii and 3 lenses - filled up the camera portion completely - I tried to squeeze in another camera body, but no luck there. The laptop sleeve was just barely that - a sleeve (as described - but no wiggle room' at all). It seemed well-built, just not room enough for me. I needed to be able to carry some documentation (for a student international trip) and a change of clothes. Not a chance! I returned it and am looking again. B and H is the greatest to work with, though!

question

Will it fit under an airplane seat? I'm paranoid about using the overhead bins.
Asked by: Rick Z.
It fits under the seat in front of you, but keep in mind you won't have much leg room. It's not a problem for short flights.

question

Is this bag deep enough to accommodate a full-size body (1D or D3, D4, etc.) with attached lens?
Asked by: Drake W.
I have a Canon 70D with a battery grip and can barely fit. Depending on a type of zoom lens attached, you only have about 8 inches of room left for the lens.

question

You have to get an aftermarket rain cover for this bag. Most come in 'liter' sizes. What size does this backpack translate to? (25L, 35L, etc)
Asked by: Anonymous
Our camera bag experts have said that the only option we sell that would work is the Mountainsmith Rain Cover (X-Small, Black) with B&H# MORCESB. It fits up to 30L and is the only cover of this kind that we carry.

Can this bag accommodate a Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L with a eos 70D camera ?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, I have an 80D with a Canon 18-200 lens attached and in the side compartment I have a Canon 100-400 lens. I also have a 50D body and an external flash in other compartments.

question

My laptop is 16.5 x 11.5 x 1 . Will this bag accommodate my laptop?
Asked by: Scott H.
I think so too. The compartment is way bigger than needed for a 15 MacBook Pro.
