    Manfrotto 175 reviews

175 Spring Clamp is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Clamp Very Solid Clamp. Holds on to whatever you clamp it to with no problem. I feel confident putting my quadra heads on it while clamped to a branch or a pole. Rubber feet in the clamp jaws make for better traction and wont scratch whatever you are clamping it to. Unfortunately not very intuitive for such a simple piece of equipment. You can attach the flash head in several ways, but most require additional hardware which doesn't come up in searches on bh. The main method of attaching the head works great though, so still a solid 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy one. Then buy more. I bought one and made my own Justin Clamp by adding a small ball head with a tripod shoe. That was so usefl I bought another and made a second one. Then I used this clamp to hold a diffuser (Lastolite Tri-Grip) and that was perfect (I was surprised it held it so well -- this is a nice, strong clamp!). Then I started using them to hold muslin backgrounds tight and in place. I now have 5 of these clamps and will probably buy one almost everytime I order gear. It's extremely versatile and grips much better than the cheap A clamps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool Gadget Yes there are cheaper A spring-clamp solutions, but this thing has some built-in goodies that make it mate better with lightstands, clamps and flash cold/hot shoes. It has large rubber feet inside the clamp so it is less likely to damage whatever it's clamped to. The photos of these make them look smaller than what they are ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheap alternative to Justin Clamps I didn't know about the existence of these clamps and was using Justin Clamps to fix my collapsible background to two (2) Manfrotto 1051BAC lightstands. Super lightweight and portable kit. These do the same job and are much cheaper, highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Manfrotto quality You cannot be wrong with this product .... superbly STRONG spring clamp ... seems that it will serve me next 20 years!.... One of the handles accepts the standard 3/8 stud. I purcased it to use as LASTOLITE 30 reflector holder ... I think this clamp is over kill for that purpose... simple boom with reflector holder with clamp would do the job. ... that is the problem of ordering online, without seeing the product on my own ! ... However, that is not related to the excellent quality of this product. ... Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does a Great Job I like how you can attach this to the top of a tripod and it will hold a fairly large foam board. Great when shooting without an assistant. Combine with additional stands and super clamps to create your own temporary wall if need be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What can you say, it is a spring clamp. This clamp does exactly what you might think it does, it holds a battery powered flash or strobe head and does it very well. Nice piece of useful gear at a good price. I use it in the studio and on location.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A strobists best friend Ever want to position a speedlite in an odd place? Then this clamp is for you. I work in tight spaces on occasion and this clamp makes it a lot easier getting my flashes where I want them.
