The Manfrotto 175 Spring Clamp is a handy multi-purpose clamp that is handy to keep around in the studio. It can be used to hold gobos, flats, or reflectors with complete security. It has a clamping range of 0.2" to 1.6" (5-40mm), and includes a 5/8" male stud, and 5/8" female socket.

convenient clamp, when paired w kupo 90 degree baby adapter, you can mount to a matthews merf location stand, and it'll securely clamp a producer's choice acoustic felt panel (i think 2ft wide by 3ft tall, 3 lbs). can 5lb boa bag the center column on the merf lightstand and now u have a low profile, ultra portable acoustic treatment option in tight spaces. it also holds up my giant reflector. quick and easy and reliable. love it
