question
What size LensCoat Lens Hoodie would you recommend for the SAMYANG 8/3.5HD FISHEYE LENS W/HOOD? The diameter of the hood is 2.75 inches so this is right on the size boundary.
I have both an extra small and a small Len Coat Hoodie. I can put them both over a lens with 3 diameter lens shades however the small size is a bit easier to fit, particularly if the lens shade is deeper.Lens Coat's does not appear to indicate the hood size of their hoodie's. In my opinion it would also be better if they provided pull taps on the hoodie to help pull these hoodies over the end of the lens. I use them on lens that I like to keep the lens hood/shade attached to the lens.
