The 14.7' Avenger Baby Steel Stand 45 with Leveling Leg is a chrome-plated steel, heavy duty light stand with a load capacity of about 20 lb. It has a closed length of 53.5" and weighs 17.6 lb. The A0045CS has a 5/8" Baby top stud and one height-adjustable leg that compensates for uneven terrain.

While this stand is quite heavy, and not something I'd want to lug very far, the build quality is superb. I use it as a microphone stand. You'll never have to worry about it being toppled over; anything or anyone who hits it will come out on the losing end! The leveling leg makes it easy to set up on uneven terrain. There's no plastic whatsoever here. It will last a lifetime, or more.
I'm using an adapter to make this a mic stand, causing it to be less expensive than other comparable mic stands. Rock solid with none of those cheap plastic parts. This should last for years to come.
