The SMART2200RMXL2U SmartPro Expandable Rack/Tower UPS System from Tripp Lite is a line interactive voltage regulation and UPS system, built to the stringent requirements necessary for network-grade surge suppression. The UPS offers battery-derived sine wave AC output during power failures and extreme voltage variations. Thanks to line interactive Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), two levels of voltage boost are available during brownouts and one level of voltage cut is available during overvoltage conditions, ensuring that a 120V current is maintained over an input range of 83-145V. The UPS features a standard NEMA 5-20P input plug, 4 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, and 4 NEMA 5-15/20R receptacles.
You'll be able to connect the UPS to a computer via USB or serial for monitoring by Mac OS X and Windows. You also have the option of installing an SNMP/Web Card for network management. You can monitor conditions via all three interfaces simultaneously. The included PowerAlert software allows you to monitor equipment load levels, self-test data, and utility power conditions. The Emergency Power Off (EPO) interface shuts down connected equipment safely in the event of a power failure, and an audible alarm and front-panel LEDs make you aware of status information regarding line and battery power operation. The internal battery is able to provide 16 minutes of backup power at half load.
