Will turning the gain/attenuator knob down all ...
Will turning the gain/attenuator knob down all the way mute the output? Or will there still be a noticeable signal?
From my experience, turning both knobs completely counterclockwise basically turns off the audio source. I can't remember any audio leaking through. This is a great little problem solver! The separate left and right channel knobs are really handy if you ever need to use a split track source where vocals may be on one side and music on the other side. My wife uses this all the time. She is an elementary music teacher.
Also, the ground switch is handy for stopping buzzes and hum. Highly recommended.

No, the product is not designed to work in reverse.
