The 10x25 Travelite Binocular from Nikon is a lightweight and compact optic with a powerful magnification to bring distant subjects up close for detailed observations and features a fully multi-coated optical path and an ergonomic housing — making it an ideal companion for outdoor enthusiasts, sports spectators, and city sightseers alike. Complementing the travel-friendly size, are aspherical lenses that reduce the curvature that can distort the field of view and BAK4 reverse-Porro prisms that work together to present flat high-contrast images with lifelike color and consistent center-to-edge sharpness. Combined with a 10' close focus distance, this 10x25 binocular is ready for almost any mid- to long-range glassing task. Responsibly sourced and containing no lead or arsenic, Nikon's Eco-Glass is used in all the lenses and prisms, to be ecologically friendly.

10x25 Travelite Binocular is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very handy, minimal focus We use these Nikon binoculars for spotting birds and wild life (or whatever else wonders into view). The binoculars are small but have a nice substantial feel. They fit nicely in the hands and the minimal weight makes them easy to hold as well as provides minimal shake. It comes with a small light weight case. I do wish the lens protectors were somehow attached to the binoculars since they are easily lost and therefore useless once they go missing. Overall, we are very pleased with the performance and value. Ordering through B&H is a breeze. I have always had a good experience with orders and shipping from B&H.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An easy choice. I take pictures for a living and I look at birds for relaxation. I looked at a lot of more sophisticated and expensive binoculars but none had the brightness and clarity of the Travelite VI. I bought my first pair eight years ago and have never had a second thought about throwing them into my luggage for down-times during photographic assignments in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Haiti, Australia, as well as for my daily dog-walks in Central Virginia. I bought my second and third pairs as gifts for my wife and my sister. I have subjected these binoculars to some harrowing conditions and have never had a problem with dust or moisture. They are small enough that I never have to decide whether or not to haul them along with me. I cannot think of a downside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nicely light I'm a birder who bought these for travel to Africa. Overall, I'm pleased, but be aware of the limitations here. PRO's: These binocs are very light (9 oz) and compact. They focus quickly and can focus down more closely than I expected for 10x binocs (e.g. to watch butterflies). They have a nicely clear Nikon quality image. The magnification also provides good close-up detail - provided you have directly locked onto your bird (know how to aim binoculars accurately) and have sufficient light. Limitations: The relatively high power (10x) of these binocs restricts the width of view. I would not recommend these for beginning birders or anyone with unsteady hands. That power also restricts the exit pupil to 2.5 mm, meaning that although images in high light (when your pupil is narrow) are fine, seeing birds in dimmer light (dawn & dusk) provides a dimmer image. The 8x version of these binocs would be a better all-round binocular for most people but consider these if you're experienced, want the power, and don't usually bird early & late.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright, Clear, Close!!!!! These binoculars are even better than Nikon's previous Travelite model. Extremely lightweight and compact, they are perfect for birding and boating. The clarity of vision is extraordinary. You can see details like the drops of water on a bird's beak. A first I thought the location of the focusing knob was awkward but I soon got used to it. I think it would be better more towards the middle instead of near the top. But that's a minor quibble. These binoculars will give you crystal clear, bright, colorful and detailed views of birds or other objects in a comfortable, extremely lightweight design. And the price is under a hundred bucks, a far better value than some binoculars costing three or four times more. Highly recommended. I think they are perfect for my needs. Some users like a wider field of view to make it easier to locate birds, but I want a good. close view and lightweight. I thought my last pair of Travelites were great but the new model VI are even better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tavelite 3 broken by cats I liked my Travelite 3 binoculars so much that after one our cats knocked them off the shelf and broke them I knew I had to replace them with another pair. They are are well worth the money. Oh, and none of the cats admitted to the breakage.
