how do these tiffen lens stack up to Coken filters?
Asked by: jonathan
Cokin are square or rectangular and you need to use a filter holder and adapter ring. These you just screw on the lens, not need to carry extra parts. The advantage of the Cokin is if you want to stack many filters and you are using a wide angle lens, there is less chance of vignetting with the Cokin in that situation. Also in the Cokin if you use a graduated neutral density you can raise and lower the filter to place the horizon anywhere. With a round filter if you get a graduated ND the horizon will always be in the center.

You need to look at the diameter of your lens. In this case, it needs to be 49mm. That is what matters.

question

is this set going to cause vignetting when used on Tokina 11-16 lens?
Asked by: Anonymous
You may experience vignette when using these filters on a Tokina 11-16mm lens and I advise you to go with wide-angle optimized filters. The Tiffen 77mm Wide Angle Filter Kit can be found at the following link: http://bhpho.to/1tWwDPO
