Avenger Roller Stand 34 Reviews
Solid!
These seem quite stable and well made and very good - much nicer than some kit lighting stands - the one slightly concerning aspect is the mini-nub that fits a lot of lights is held in by the screw in a way that *COULD* drop whatever you have attached if that fails. I don't think it will, but ... it's a thing. I didn't notice any problems with the wheels being loose as indicated in other reviews.
This stand is just what I needed.
I use a 4 foot by 6 foot soft box in my studio. For years I have had it mounted on a C stand. When it is fully extended it's awkward to pick up and carry. I tried adding wheels to the C stand but it seemed unbalanced and wasn't easy to steer. This stand works great. Rolls easily and smoothly, feels very secure.
