This is the best sounding microphone I've ever used. Solid construction and works perfect for my audio needs. I wasted a couple of years with cheaper mics and after hearing the Shure SM585 quality, I'll never sacrifice again to save a few bucks.

The Shure SM58-LC, and SM58CN are identical microphones. The LC version does not ship with a cable however.

This mic does need a cable. To connect to a mixer, I would use a cable , such as the Kopul Premium Performance 3000 Series XLR Male to XLR Female Microphone Cable (15', Black), BH #KOM3015.

This Shure dynamic mic can be connected to a computer. I would suggest utilizing an audio interface, such as the Behringer U-PHORIA UMC22 Desktop 2x2 USB 1.1 Audio Interface, BH #BEUMC22. An XLR cable, such as the Kopul Premium Performance 3000 Series XLR Male to XLR Female Microphone Cable (15', Black), BH #KOM3015 would connect from the mic to the audio interface, which would then connect digitally to a laptop, with the included USB cable.
