Will this work on a Westcott 45 umbrella in a pinch?
No, it does not. The Photek diffuser has 10 eyelets whereas the Westcott 45 umbrella only has 8 ribs. In summary, the Photek diffuser panel is too big. It fits perfectly on a Bowens 45 umbrella if that helps - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/169871-REG/Bowens_BW_4046_Umbrella_Silver_and.html.

will this fit a 46 Photek Goodlighter II umbrella?
It probably will. I have an original 46 goodlighter. I imagine it fits the newer models as well. You could always call Photek. They will answer any questions you have. I only used mine a couple of times.
