I bought this one with the Nikon AC adapter. This Nikon branded one is high quality and it also fits in the camera and works everytime. Don't waste your money on the cheaper knock-offs. Before I bought this I used a knock-off brand but it was often janky with lots of pushing and shaking it to get it to work. Eventually the ac adapter and wire broke on it. My new Nikon one is definitely worth the extra money.

Awesome Fit and Finish. I recently purchased the Nikon EH-5d AC Adapter and the Nikon EP-5B Power Supply Connector for my Nikon D7000 Camera. The EH-5d AC adapter has plenty of cord that allows me plenty of flexibility in my studio. It connects with the EP-5B Power Supply Connector securely so there is no worry about losing power. The EP-5B Power Supply Connector fits perfectly in the battery slot of my camera and the cord does not interfere with the profile of the camera bottom. I am very happy with this product and wonder why it took me so long to purchase it.

No, the Z50 takes a different battery than the cameras listed, so the dummy battery will not fit.

Will it work with the D500?I know it fits but have you tested it?I have tried 3 knock offs that all work with the D750 and D800. All show only a little empty battery Icon when plugged into the D500

Nikon lists the EP-5B Power Supply Connector for Select Nikon Cameras B&H # NIEP5B MFR # 27014 as compatible with the Nikon D500. But you will also need the Nikon EH-5b AC Adapter for Various Nikon Digital Cameras B&H # NIEH5B MFR # 27055.

I had 2 other solutions somehow lose power (the battery symbol blinks) after a few days. Will this one maintain for days?

The Nikon EP-5B Power Supply Connector for Select Nikon Cameras (B&H# NIEP5B) can produce the same amount of power even when used for long periods. However, higher temperatures could cause an increase in impedance and therefore a slight reduction in voltage output from the MOSFETs in the power source used -- presumably an AC to DC transformer. As such, we'd recommend making sure to allow that transformer's heat to escape during use rather than, say, covering it with anything that might insulate it, leaving it in the sun, or otherwise preventing it from touching surfaces that have the potential to wick heat away from it such as a cool floor. Since something similar can happen to your camera (which has the potential to cause or contribute to this problem, too, even if no overheating is sensed nor warned about), you may also wish to leave the battery door of your camera open, the rear screen pulled or at least tilted away from the body of the camera, and your camera mounted to something that can serve as a heat sink such as an L-bracket, cage, or tripod. Shading the camera from direct sunlight is also helpful. Yes, very well. I use with the Case Relay system. Their connector is not reliable with the Z7 (sometimes it worked, often not).
