Rated 5 out of 5 by from These Aren't Going Anywhere.... The first thing one notices as soon as you remove them from the package is that they are a quality product. I was pleasantly surprised to find them thicker than I expected, and the stitching is well done on the borders. The velcro is wide and once you start adhering them to the legs, you realize they won't be coming off easily! I had another set of hands assist me in placing them on so that they aligned properly, only because it takes much effort to pull it apart once the two velcro pieces are mated. My one complaint: a bit pricey for 3 foam wraps but I chose to buy them knowing this. This model is the right fit for the Gitzo GT3542XLS.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not buy again. Purchased this to wrap the tripod legs of my Really Right Stuff TVC-23 model. I was told it would fit by the specs listed. They were too big. The actual width of the velcro was too wide, therefore when I wrapped it tight around the leg, the velcro farthest inside edge would roll over making a fat seam that interfered with my hand grip. Also that same inside edge had a thick stitched seam which made it roll over even easier when stretching it tight during wrapping. ... I thought it was too thick as well, would have been nice if it was a winter jacket I could wear. .. Was not what I expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not slip I must admit i was skeptical about how well the wraps would fit and/or stay in place. I am very happy to say that they fit PERFECTLY. They do stick, with no adhesive, to the tripod legs like they were welded on. The velcro that they used is some kind of freaky super velcro that once pressed together sticks together so well that i am not sure if i will ever be able to take them off. To me, that is a good thing, to others perhaps not. I must say that the description of the product does not do it justice. These things REALLY DO stay where you put them. They are very nicely padded and provide a very comfortable grip surface when carrying the tripod. Another great product from lenscoat !

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job but with some sacrifices I use these LegCoat wraps for my Gitzo 3541XLS. I use it mainly to: 1. Protect the legs during transport and storage 2. Keep my hands warm when shooting in the cold It does the trick but adds a considerable amount of bulk to the legs, makes the tripod a tad bit heavier. The weight change was noticeable. Also the design isn't as sleek as I thought it would be. The Velcro wrap works to keep it taught but the edges seem to protrude out a bit still. All in all I would've given it a higher score if it was cheaper and more sleek. It still works well and I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product. I bought the LegCoat Wraps 316 for my Gitzo GT3542XLS tripod. I've only had them a month, but they fit good and look great. Why did I only give them 4 stars? Because I had a very hard time getting my pre-sales questions answered. When LensCoats website could not answer my question, I called B&H sales, they didn't know. Then I tried to call LensCoat sales department. Come to find out, LensCoat the company really does not want retail customers calling them. I finally did get an answer to my question, but it took way to long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits well, good padding I am using these on a Gitzo GT3530LSV. That fit well, do not slide and seem to offer good padding and protection. No question that they help keep the hands warm in the cold. I had to apply and remove 2 to 3 times for practice to get the tension just right to get them nice and smooth and in exactly the right place. Not a bit deal. It was maybe 10 minutes from the box arriving until I was done installing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Shoulder Saver I was introduced to the LegCoat system when renting a tripod while mine was out on repair. I am one of those people who like to sling my tripod over my shoulder, sometimes with the DSLR attached, and move from position to position while on location. I noticed that the strain on each shoulder was greatly reduced with the LegCoat covers in place and that I did not have to swap shoulders as often. Additionally, these covers have the added benefit of not giving you a cold metal or carbon fiber (yes, carbon fiber can get very cold in the night too) leg to grab when adjusting things. I use these covers with my Gitzo GT3542XLS tripod and have not been happier as they give me great padding, a good grip in all weather conditions, and don't add too much extra bulk or weight to each leg. The only downside I can find so far in using them is that they do tend to soak up moisture in humid or rainy environments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to iintall, not as bulky These warps are useful for using the tripod in cold temperatures, but also provide comfort when carrying the tripod, especially on your shoulder! They are much less bulky then than older model on on older tripod, although the older model stayed in place a little better because you adhered the foam to the tripod leg. They have worked very well for all uses.
