The RC-3F 3-Way Footswitch from TASCAM allows you to add additional control and functionality to the GB-10, LR-10, DP-03, and other TASCAM recorders and players. The unit has a large center pedal and 2 smaller side pedals. DP24sd/32sd.. with RC-3F one of the buttons can be set for 'Record' and one for 'Play'. Can 'Record' start recording alone or does 'Play need to be pressed also at the same time?
As long as you have a track armed it works. You have the options to set any of the three foot switches to any combination of the following settings.Play, Rec, Stop, FF, Rew, Punch In/Out, PlayStop and cue locate.

Would this work with the Portastudio 488?

Will this work on the GT2 guitar trainer?
No, the unit was designed to be used with the RC-30P footswitch.Since the TASCAM RC-30P is no longer manufactured (with no replacement), any momentary closure, NO (normally open) foot-switch using a 1/4 phono plug can be used.Examples: * BOSS FS-5U* M-AUDIO SP-1Thank you for your interest in TASCAM products.
