The directions say I should be able to change the aperature but when I attach it to my lens and put it in manual, the aperture just says F-- and I can't change it. I also can't figure out how to get the flash to work. How do I get it to allow me to change aperture and also use the flash?
When using the Holga Lens for Nikon DSLR Camera,F/8 lens, one cannot change aperture, because the lens only has one aperture, ( f/8 ). When this lens is connected to the Nikon body you have chosen, the flash will not function. It is possible that mounting this Holga lens on a different camera body, may facilitate the flash function.

Will this take screw-on filters? Or are the only filters available are the ones that go with the optional filter holder?
I've had good luck adding a set of standard filter threads by screwing a 46-49mm step-up ring into the front. It takes a bit of effort, try at your own risk. On another Holga, I slipped a 52-62mm step-up ring over the exterior to get 62mm threads.
