This 5-pack of 18 x 24" Bright White Pre-Cut Exhibition Mat Board's from Archival Methods fits 12 x 18" prints. Each board comes fully assembled with a 4-ply beveled window and a 2-ply backing board, which are hinged together with linen tape on the long side of the boards. The bright white, 100% cotton museum board has a centered window for displaying your print. The exhibition mat can be hung in a vertical or horizontal orientation.

Regarding Archival Methods Bright White Pre-Cut Exhibition Mat (18 x 24 for 12 x 18 Print, 5-Pack) B&H # ARPM12181824 MFR # 48-018...I'm purchasing this for a 12x18 image, but I would prefer to have an opening of 11.5 x 17.5...I'm afraid that the actual opening of the board would cut off the corners of the composition that is vital...?
I have purchased these mats and have been satisfied. The openings are close to 11.5 x 17.5 . Maybe slightly smaller because of the bevel cut. The one I measured was off by less than 1/8 on either dimension.
