Purchased a pair of these to replace the cheap, worn-out plastic OEM caps that refused to stay on a couple of vintage Mamiya lenses I acquired recently. The Sensei caps are strong and very secure once attached. They are quite thin, which can make them just a bit difficult to handle once in a while (at least for my old hands), but that is a small price to pay for the peace of mind they provide. Recommended.
I got this for the relatively small kit lens (16-50) that came with my Nikon Zfc body. The cap supplied by Nikon is a pinch style. While it is convenient, it seems too thick for such a small lens. I got this to make the overall setup thinner, which it does. It also just looks better. Screws on and off very smoothly - a welcome upgrade.
