This aluminum Rapid Baby to 3/8" Male Threaded Adapter from Impact converts a 5/8" (16mm) light stand tip, or baby stud, to a 3/8" thread. It will allow vertical or horizontal mounting of a light fixture, flash, or camera that has a 3/8" threaded receptor. A locking knob will keep the mounted accessory firmly in place.

I'm a fan of this adapter. It's simple to use and very intuitive. Aside from the plastic knob, this piece feels very strong and feels substantial in your hand.
