Helping to prevent zoom creep, the yellow Lens Band from LENSband is a simple silicone rubber band specifically designed to stop unwanted lens movement from occurring. Sized to fit most DSLR zoom lenses, this band will stretch over zoom rings ranging in diameter from 67 to 110mm in order to prevent the lens from moving under its own weight when angled upward or downward. When not in use, the band can be stored over your lens and can also be used to provide increased grip for removing jammed or stuck filters on the front of your lens.

What size do I need for a Nikon 24-70 mm f/2.8 lens? Also, can this be used in place of the orange band that comes with the Aquatech Sound Blimp (you place it on the zoom band to give it friction so you can zoom with the blimp's lens tube)? I bought a used blimp that didn't have the orange band and it's impossible to zoom without it.
I have a 72mm lens filter and the red band fits well on my 18-200 lens.
