Yes, I use it on my NIkon D750. Not the 10 pin connector but the DC2 connector supplied with ShutterBoss II Timer.
Page 373 in the manual describes how to use remote video.

Choose the role played by pressing the shutter-release button when (movie symbol) is selected with the live view selector.
Option
Description - Take photos
Press the shutter-release button all the way down to end movie recording and take a photograph with an aspect ratio of 16:9 (for information on image size, see page 77).
Option Record movies
Press the shutter-release button halfway to start movie live view. You can then press the shutter- release button halfway to focus (autofocus mode only) and press it all the way down to start or end recording. The shutter-release button can not be used for other purposes during movie live view.
To end movie live view, press the LV button. The shutter-release button on an optional wireless remote controller or remote cord (lj 443,444) functions in the same way as the camera shutter- release button; the optional ML-L3 remote control, however, can not be used to record movies; the shutter-release button on the ML-L3 has no effect.

Programing the shutter release button to work with movies (videos) when in live view and the "Live View" selector is set to "Movie Live View". The Shutterboss II works perfectly. You can even set the Shutterboss II to start the movie after a specified interval, as indicated in the Shutterboss II manual.

Would the 10-pin work with analog cameras, let’s say with a Nikon F5? Anybody ever tried this?
We have not tested the Vello ShutterBoss II Timer Remote Switch for Cameras with Nikon 10-Pin Connector with the Nikon F5, but since it works with the Nikon F6 and they both use the same remotes it should also work on the Nikon F5.
