Although Westcott products are usually reliable, these umbrella diffusers are being returned, due to their so-so design. Instead of having a drawstring around their outer edge (like other brands) that allows them to be snugged against the outer rim for security, they simply have a slight indention-seam. So (unlike this photo used on the B&H ad page) the diffuser does not lay FLAT AND SECURED against the black backer fabric. Instead the diffuser barely holds itself onto the umbrella, and even a slight tug or gust of wind will dismount it. Luckily the 'Paul C. Buff company' makes a much better version that fits these Westcotts perfectly.
Fantastic and easy to use diffusion for 7' parabolic umbrellas. I purchased this diffusion after owning the silver lined 7' Westcott umbrella for the past 10 years. It's a game changer and brings new life to my already owned umbrella. It's great for diffusion when lighting large families and groups and much more portable and lighter than a softbox of similar size.
