Is there a 1/4-20 hole on one end so that it can screw onto a 1/4-20 stud?
Asked by: chris
No, the Impact SRP-113 Long Double Stud 5/8" does not have a 1/4 20 hole. However. The aluminum Impact 5/8" Stud with 1/4"-20 Female Threads does. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1334345-REG/impact_srp_112p_5_8_stud_with_1_4_20.html?sts=pi

question

What is the hole through the bottom for?
Asked by: Benjamin S.
I put in a metal ring attached to a safety cable from the stud to the strobe light to make sure if the strobe was to come loose and fall, it would not fall far but instead hang off the C-Stand or boom arm the stud and grip was attached to.
