how can i connect a usb yeti to an evo4?

how can i connect a usb yeti to an evo4?
Asked by: Steven
There's not much reason to use a USB mic to an audio interface since the USB mic already has an A/D converter inside it, which is the primary role of the audio interface. You should be just fine plugging it into your computer. If you prefer the preamp sound of your evo, you should buy an analog mic instead. You'll probably end up getting more bang for your buck too

question

will this work online calls like skype and messenger?
Asked by: Francisco
You may use the Blue Yeti USB Microphone for skype and online messenger but it is best to use it with headphones as the potential for feed-back exists when the microphone is capturing the audio from the computer speakers and sends it back to the skype or messenger call.

question

Is there a calibration file available to flatten the peaky frequency response??
Asked by: Anonymous
The frequency response is pretty linear for this type of mic but you may apply EQ with most DAW software. Here's a good one which includes many tools including a Pro EQ - 7-band parametric EQ and a Channel Strip - dynamics processing and equalizer.

question

will this work for xbox one online purposes?
Asked by: Khalon B.
The Blue Yeti is designed for connection to a computer for audio recording applications. Although it is possible the unit may operate with other devices, the manufacturer does not recommend the unit for these devices and may not operate the way it is intended. Unfortunately we would not be able to confirm use other than intended by Blue.

how can i connect a usb yeti to an evo4 xlr jack?

how can i connect a usb yeti to an evo4 xlr jack?
Asked by: Steven
The Blue Yeti is a USB mic, so it has an audio interface built in to it already.and can not be adapted to connect to an audio interface, such as the Audient EVO4. I would recommend choosing a microphone with an XLR connection to pair with the audio interface, such as the AKG Project Studio P420 Multi-Pattern Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone, BH #AKP420B. Also, you can simply connect the Blue Yeti directly into your computer.
