Ruggard Pro 75 Overview

  • 1Description

The Commando Pro 75 DSLR Shoulder Bag from Ruggard is slightly larger than the Pro 65 and is sized to hold your large DSLR system with grip and most 15.6" laptops. The 15 x 9.5" laptop sleeve prevents your camera gear from bumping into your computer. Four removable dividers allow you to configure the interior to suit your gear needs.

The exterior is water-repellent 600D high-density Oxford nylon, complemented by a smooth 150D polyester lining designed not to scratch your equipment. The bag is covered by a quick release front flap and an interior zippered lid. This provides two ways to both protect and access your gear. If you don't want to zipper the lid, its touch fastener attaches to the cover flap, allowing you to use just the front quick release buckle.

For storage, there's a front zippered organizer pocket that contains multiple slip-in pockets for small items such as pens, as well as two touch-fastened memory card pockets. In addition, there's a zippered mesh pocket under the lid, one airline-style mesh side pocket, and a side loop that will accept an optional pouch. A rear zippered pocket can be used for collateral material and files.

Rubber feet on the bottom of the bag protect it when placed on the ground. All the bag's zippers feature a yellow pull tab for ease of use while wearing gloves. Each side of the bag contains an extra quick release coupler for additional security. A removable rain cover located in a zippered bottom pocket can be readily deployed when the weather turns against you. The Commando Pro 75 is carried by its adjustable, removable, padded shoulder strap that connects to metal D-rings. A top carry handle and rear trolley sleeve offer you additional carrying options.

    Ruggard Pro 75 Reviews

Commando Pro 75 DSLR Shoulder Bag is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from no-nonsense large bag I am very pleased with this bag because it fulfills all of the requirements that I had when I began looking for a shoulder bag. #1 it is a nice large bag with enough room for every thing that I wanted carry. #2 when I set it down on the ground or on a table it sets upright and stable and doesn't tend to fall over.#3 very substantial handle and shoulder strap.#4 I like the fact that I can leave the locks undone and just use the large flap to close the bag when that is appropriate or I can lock it up tight. I am currently using the bag to carry; 5d mark ii,with grip and with attached 24-105mm f4L eos 17-40mm f4L eos 70-300mm f4-5.6L eos 50mm f1.8 two camera straps filter wallet /w 6-77mm filters extra batteries,4-cf cards, corded remote shutter release, lens pens ,many cleaning cloths. There is also a pocket for a 15 laptop which I don't carry. If you detach the lens there is plenty of room to carry a second body with a grip which I occasionally do. I am very pleased with the bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sturdy equipment transport I bought this bag after a long frustrating trip with a top-brand photo backpack. It's nice to be able to haul two DSLRS, six lenses and a bunch accessories without hanging up on straps, buckles. clips and tie strings. The bag is roomy, very well built and fits under all but the smallest airplane seats, where it fits easily in the overhead. we did a three-connection round trip to Lake Tahoe and the whole excursion was much easier than our last one. This bag helped. we plan to get one of the 45 series for our backup kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Is A BIG Bag!! OK, it's BIG, really BIG! I wasn't prepared for how big this bag was, even though I laid a tape out on my dining room table prior to placing the order. That said, I can work with it. It easily holds my D7100 camera, SB-910 flash, other accessories, manuals, cleaning supplies, etc., with room to grow in to! Great value (I saved $30.00 by catching it on sale), and looks like it's built to last. The velcro dividers are easily manipulated for whatever your configuration requirements may be. Has a convenient shoulder strap or suitcase style handle for carrying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent bag holds all I need it to hold This bag is awesome. Make no mistake about it, it's big, really big, but it holds everything I need it hold and more. I recently started using the Wonderpana filter system by Fotodiox for ultra wide angle lens and could not fit my Nikon D750 with my Tokina 16-28 f2.8 pro lens attached into my old bag with Fotodiox lens adapter (145mm) attached to the lens. With this bag that's no longer an issue. Plus I still have room for my Tamron 24-70 f2.8 and my Tamron 70-200 f2.8., plus room enough for a 145mm polarizer, 145mm 10 stop ND filter, lens blower, and the adapters for Fotodiox 6.5 x 8 rectangular ND Grad filters. I carry these filters in the 15' lap sleeve. The pocket in the lid of the bag holds 3-4 extra batteries and a headlamp for those predawn mornings. The front zipper pockets holds a small note book, pen, lens pen, 3-4 extra memory cards, lens wipes and 2 12x16 microfiber cloths. Like I said, it's a big shoulder bag

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tall with solid construction Just received this bag from BH. What immediately struck me is how tall it is, you can definitely get longer lenses in this one and store your camera with telephoto attached. You can also stack two lenses in one slot (one atop of the other). As for pockets, it has the standard inside top flap pocket, the front pocket (with sub-pockets), and a thinner back storage pocket. It also has one mesh pocket on the left side (none on the right). One thing that seems missing is a pocket on the outside of the front flap, which many bags have. But there seems to be plenty of space w/o it. Looking forward to using it.? One note - this bag is tall enough where storing under an airline seat in front of you might be a problem, at least w/o turning it on its side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bag At last a bag big enough to carry all I need. I have gone through many different types of bag, from backpacks to smaller shoulder cases. They served a purpose but as my gear list grew I needed something that could take two bodies, lens, flash and assorted cards, pocket wizards and chargers, this is that bag. The bag interior is roomy, with easy access. Very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest shoulder bag ever I is a large bag, It fits everything I need and with comfort. The construction of the bag is excellent as well. I am able to fit my dslr, with grip, about 5 extra lenses with a flash unit and tons of batteries and accessories. Just a great product and highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be more pleased! Having tried and been disappointed with a few backpack and shoulder strap type photo bags I'm so glad to have purchased the Commando Pro. This bag suits my needs perfectly with room for my DSLR, 80-400, 24-120 and 12-24 mm zooms, chargers, extra batteries, 15 laptop and numerous accessories. Stacks well on collapsible luggage cart for coursing through the airport. Solid construction sits the bag firmly in place on my photo trips for quick access.
