question

Redoing this typed in wrong place. Was looking at the Commando 45,Now looking at the 75.I have a flash I like to leave the flash on camera D40(with grip)(Leave flash on for pets & grand kids)Flash camera & grip is about 10 1/2 tall. So this should work standing up?
Asked by: Terry
I would say you have plenty of room for what you wish to do. Be sure the camera and flash are well padded to lessen stress on the flash foot and camera hot shoe.

question

Is the bag tall enough to hold a 100-400 zoom lens upright? Most bags are not large enough to hold the lens in a vertical position so much of the bag space is wasted when the lends has to lay on it's side.

My Tamron 150-600mm will not fit in this bag. I keep that in a separate backpack (Lowepro Flipside 300) attached to a Nikon D700 with spare batteries and memory cards.

question

Is the Quick-release front buckle and other hardware metal or plastic?
Asked by: Michael D.
The front quick release is a large plastic buckle. All of the hardware for and on the shoulder strap is metal. I find this to be a extremely well built, large bag.

question

Thanks for all the answers! I actually have a 80 - 400 Nikon which is about 9.5 inches in height. If the bag interior height is 11 inches then I should be fine?
Asked by: Robert
The inside measurements of the bag are L: 15in (38cm), W: 7in (18cm) and D: 11in (28cm). This should be fine I think if the lens is not attached to the camera. There is plenty of room in this bag and I didn't have any problem to use it as a carry-on on an airplane trip. It is bulky but very useful and well made. Good buy.
