The UB-440 Professional USB Microphone from Senal is a cardioid condenser mic that combines professional quality sound capture with the ease of plug-and-play USB connectivity on both Mac and Windows computers. The UB-440 provides a high level of versatility, excelling at tracking vocals, voice-overs, and instruments. Its integrated preamp provides ample gain that can be controlled via the mic's continuous gain slider
Selectable Pad and High-Pass Filter
A selectable 10 dB pad allows you to track louder sources, while the selectable high-pass filter at 80 Hz can eliminate unwanted low-noise rumble
Headphone Monitoring
The 1/8" headphone output features an independent gain control and provides monitoring for real-time playback and multi-tracking. You can use it to monitor playback from your DAW of choice, even when not recording. The continuous headphone control assures you will be able monitor at necessary volume levels

I purchase this mic for my live shows because I need something easy to connect and setup as apposed to hand held mic. It works fantastic. It picks up more sound than my shure dynamic mic. Setup took me 5 minutes from unboxing and setting it up. The mounting clamp for the swing arm made setting this mic easy to mount on my table. The swing arm is strong enough to hold the mic without sagging like others. For the price and ease of use. I would recommend this.

Mic, Pre-Amp, and Headphone Amp in an all-in-one package! Nice to be able to use a USB mic without the need for a separate pre-amp. Really like the headphone jack incorporated into the unit with separate gain controls for the headphone volume.

Good mic for online work. Easy to set up and software quickly recognizes it. One weakness though, USB cable can disconnect too easily from bottom of mic. Need to always have a strain relief.

I was unhappy with using the microphone in my laptop for Zoom sessions, hosting webinars, etc. The Senal UB-440 kit really improved my sound in these settings, and the included Auray shield really cut the roominess of the sound. It greatly reduced the echo/reverberation off room walls. Al in all, it delivers as advertised.

This microphone is perfect for Zoom calls and for recordings via the internet. Sound is so much better than using laptop system, even a brand new high quality laptop system! Thanks for B&H for their wise guidance in purchasing such!

I have been in Pro Audio for close to 30 years. I'm one of those crazy people that hoped Tube Amps would come back {A Long Time Ago}. I have allot of Condenser Mics (I prefer not to pull out to allow (Un-known Guest Presenters or the occasional Loan to a Friend. This fits both, Great Enough for me and certainly those other uses!

As good or better than the bigger brand names, great sound, plug in connection, easy to use. Size is bigger than it looks in picture but it comes with it's stand and works great!

It really depends on what you are doing. Audacity is a simple to use and free DAW, and a lot of people really like it. For something with a little more sophistication you may want to consider Audition from Adobe.

Does the Senal UB-440 Professional USB Microphone work with windows 8/8.1 RealTek sound system?

Although I'm using an iMac, also it works great on Windows 8 and 8.1. The quality is very good, but there is a small problem, for my taste. This model microphone is connected via USB, and while listening to headphones while recording for a small delay occurs.
