question

My husband and I are going on a safari and these binoculars were recommended. Are they a good fit for safari or should I be looking at others?
Asked by: Anonymous
I bought a pair of these two years ago, mostly for use at our country retreat outside Ithaca, NY. Deciding factor was the close focusing ability, though they are fine at a distance, as well. They seem virtually equal to a pair of Eagle binoculars I got for a birthday present some six years ago. Only thing about roof prisms is they provide less stereo separation at a distance. But issues like color fringing, collimation are negligible. A very good value. Was just watching a flock of cedar waxwings eating hawthorn blossoms with gusto.

question

Does the binocular come with a neck strap?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, these binoculars come with an adjustable length neck strap. The buyer has to attach it, but it is fairly easy to do so. They also come with a soft case and lens cleaning cloth. I highly recommend these!
